Monday, January 21st...

Quick post, but I had to share today.. Our Monday morning started off w/ a bang, Kaylor had a slight fever.. After a little fever reducer, it went away and she didn't feel too bad.. We already had an eye exam scheduled (her very first, as she had been complaining about headaches for the last few weeks and also mentioned having difficulty seeing the board at school) so we decided to keep the appointment. After 2 hours of being there we were finally heading for home.. Her eyes were dialated, she got the nice puff of air and all of that other fun routine stuff. Apparently her eyes have been overly trying to correct the distance issue which is the most likely cause of the headaches. My little girl however is now the proud owner of a brand new pair of glasses. They are hoping that after a few months the issue will go away, but only time will tell. Kindly, Kaylor agreed to let me snap a couple photos of her and her new appearance.. I just love my little girl and seeing her in her glasses just makes her seem that much more grown up.. You did so good today, K, I'm proud of you!...
